I’ve tried 2 separate bands for my garmin watch, both metal bands. Neither lasted long because of connecting pin failures. I wouldn’t say I’m extremely hard on a band but I do test them at work, play, etc.
Leather is extremely durable, whether it’s a phone case, boots, motorcycle chaps, the list is lengthy. So why not a watch band? So far so good, it seems very durable and is doing its job like intended.

Customer service was the best. I wanted to modify my original order and it was all taken care of in the matter of hours. Shipment was fast and the quality of the leather is way better than leather straps I’ve had in the past. The buckle and hardware or nicely brushed with no sharp corners to bite when being worn. The strap is just a really well made product that kind of took a simple field watch and dressed it up slightly.

This band is beautiful and made with high quality materials. I love a thick leather band. However, the band is so thick at the wrapped around end where spring bars insert, that I can’t fit it to any of my watches so the spring bar can align with the holes in the lugs. In other words, the thickness pushes out the spring bar beyond where it could insert into the lug holes. This makes the band unable for me to use at all. Perhaps for the future you could skive down the thickness of the band enough at that loop so it can fit watches but not so much that it risks the strength of the band st the spring bars.

I already sent an email with my disappointment. I really wanted to love the strap but it doesn't look great. The leather is great. The stitching is a bit wonky, kind of zig zags and looks a bit sloppy. The holes are the biggest problem. The holes don't run down the center of the strap and the spacing is inconsistent. Even the size of the actual holes are different sizes. Because the holes are not in the center, the tang connects at and angle and doesn't sit on the groove where it is supposed to. I sent photos when I initially received the strap and was told they would send a new one. If I receive a new one, I will re-review but right now, I can't wear the strap.

I was pleasantly surprised to find my watch strap matches my Allen Edmonds belt perfectly. But the watch strap is almost double the thickness. Jack Foster leather is thick and beefy.

Best heavy duty watch strap you can buy. Period. I don’t like steel on wrist. Leather man here or the occasional NATO. These are built like a strap ought be. Superb quality leather. Thick and bombproof. Made in America. I’ll be back for another as my old Seiko needs a little flourish. Thank you for an outstanding product. And one heck of a useable tool.

Nice quality leather and craftsmanship, however the strap is just way too thick to be practical or comfortable. It was so thick, it wouldn't even work with my OEM Omega buckle.
If the strap was maybe 2/3 as thick, it would be much more wearable.
